| Jazzanova are especially famous for their
remixes, blending jazz attitudes with easy
listening sounds. The producing / DJ collective consists of
6 people all living in Berlin.
Jazzanova started out in one of Berlin's clubs, called "Delicious
Doughnuts". There, they hosted a weekly night, where
they delved into jazz inspired club music.
They aim to define some sort of international club
music, to integrate universal sounds, dub, hip hop
and break beat into their own style.
In 1998, Jazzanova founded Sonar Kollektiv,
an independent artist label and plattform with international
renown.
2005, renowned Blue Note label invited Jazzanova
to dig into their archives and compile the 4th edition of
their "Blue Note Trip" compilation. Definitely a
high point in the carreer of the Berlin based dj and producer
collective.
