How expensive is Berlin: The Cost of Living

The cost of living in Germany is relatively high. However, Berlin, it's capital, is in some ways the exception of the rule. Depending on your life style, the city is definitely affordable. There are budget places to eat and drink, coffee shops and bars offer good deal and won't hassle you if you take your time to finish one drink.

In international city ranking regarding cost of living, Berlin is nowhere near the top. It's considerably cheaper than, say, London, Paris or Moscow while offering as wide a range of attractions and events!
